ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PROGRAMME
The Accompanying Person Package includes attendance at the following social and networking events: the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception, President’s Reception, Museum Evening, Cultural Event, South African Experience, and YIN Party.
It also includes a Classic Hop on, Hop off ticket for the City Sightseeing Red Bus which can be used on any day of the Congress week. You have a choice between the following bus tour loops:
o The Red City tour to the Table Mountain Cableway
o The Blue Mini Peninsula tour
o The Purple Constantia Valley Wine tour
o The Yellow Downtown tour
In addition, you can join one of the following tours on either Monday, 28 October or Tuesday, 29 October:
o Cape Peninsula Tour (surcharge of R400 for Cape Point Nature Reserve entrance fee)
o Winelands Tour (Limited to 120 people per day)
o Hermanus Whale Tour
Please note: An Accompanying Person is defined as “A participant’s spouse, partner, or other personal relation who does not have a business or scientific interest in the Congress”. Please note that children under 18 are welcome to participate as an accompanying person, but the Welcome Reception, the President’s Reception and the YIN Party are not suitable for under 18’s.
CONGRESS GOLF DAY
Attendance: Open to all registered participants and accompanying persons; an additional cost of R3,325 per person is applicable and is including transport to and from the CTICC, green fees, shared cart, ½ way house refreshment, dinner meal and beverages and prizes as appropriate. Club hire can be arranged, at an additional cost and directly with the Golf Shop: golfshop@pearlvalley.co.za. Please note that club availability is very limited and of a 1st come, 1st served basis.

OPENING CEREMONY AND WELCOME RECEPTION
Attendance: Open to all registered participants and accompanying persons; included in the registration fee.

Welcome Reception – Hall 1/2/3, Cape Town International Convention Centre 1
CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Attendance: One Classic Hop on, Hop off ticket for each accompanying person which can be used on any day of the Congress week.
Date: Any one day between Monday, 28 October – Friday, 1 November
Venue: The bus stop outside the CTICC, on the corner of Walter Susulu Ave and Lower Long Street.
CAPE PENINSULA TOUR
Attendance: Open to registered accompanying persons; additional cost of R400 for Cape Point Nature Reserve entrance fee.
