Please be aware that there are scam artists that use congresses to offer fake bookings or ask for money to book accommodation, visas, or other travel services.

You should only communicate with the IFA 2024 Congress Organiser using the official channels available on this website. We will only contact you from the following domains: @africanagenda.com, @kit-group.org, @eventsairmail.com and @ifa2024capetown.com. Please ignore any attempts to extract payment from you through any email address that is not linked to the congress. No payments should be made unless you are in possession of a verifiable invoice. If in doubt, please check with us before sharing any personal details or processing any transaction.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Registration for the IFA 2024 Congress is now open. Attendees are able to register online and participation in social events will also be able to be booked at the time of registration. Please note that you will need a credit or debit card (Mastercard or Visa) in order to complete your registration.

ONSITE REGISTRATION INFO

Upon arrival at CTICC 1, head to the Registration Foyer to collect your name badge and congress bag.

The registration area, located in the Registration Foyer on Level 0 of CTICC 1, will be open at the following times:

· Sunday, 27 October: 09.00-21.00

· Monday, 28 October: 07.30-16.00

· Tuesday, 29 October – Thursday, 31 October: 07.30-15.30

Everyone will need a name badge to access the congress sessions, exhibition, lunches, refreshment breaks, and networking events, so it must be worn at all times. Only one name badge will be issued, so please ensure that you have yours with you every day.

Please note: Lost or forgotten name badges can be reprinted for a fee of ZAR 50.00.

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) with an indicative United States Dollars (USD) value provided below. The host branch, International Fiscal Association – South Africa, is registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) and all prices include 15% VAT.

The registration fees for participants (IFA Member, Non-member and African) includes:

  • Access to all sessions
  • Access to the exhibition
  • Congress materials including programme and congress bag
  • Lunches and refreshment breaks
  • Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception, President’s Reception, Museum Evening, Cultural Event, South African Experience, and YIN Party

The registration fees for accompanying persons includes:

  • Attendance at the following social and networking events: the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception, President’s Reception, Museum Evening, Cultural Event, South African Experience, and YIN Party.
  • A Classic Hop on, Hop off ticket for the City Sightseeing Red Bus. 
  • One additional tour with a choice between a Cape Peninsula Tour, a Winelands Tour or a Hermanus Whale Tour.

Please note: An Accompanying Person is defined as “A participant’s spouse, partner, or other personal relation who does not have a business or scientific interest in the Congress”. Please note that children under 18 are welcome to participate as an accompanying person, but the Welcome Reception, the President’s Reception and the YIN Party are not suitable for under 18’s.
